The 2019 CRDM Symposium "Dialog 2.0" will attract students and scholars from various disciplines and across underrepresented populations to engage with each other about how to dialogue productively in this new world of alternative facts, false news, and intimidation and in which issues of public import are often deliberated over social media.

2014 CRDM Symposium: Rethinking Globalization and the Question of Scale

Partnering with CHASS and the English and Communication departments, CRDM presents the 2014 CRDM Symposium "Rethinking Globalization and the Question of Scale: Interdisciplinary Perspectives from the Humanities and Social Sciences". This international symposium will assemble an interdisciplinary gathering of leading scholars, as well as Research Triangle faculty and graduate students, to consider theoretical and methodological conceptualizations of scale important for understanding globalization.

NC State's Communication, Rhetoric, and Digital Media program (CRDM) is proud to host its 4th annual research symposium, "Emerging Genres, Forms, Narratives—in New Media Environments," which will take place Friday, April 19, through Saturday, April 20, 2013. The symposium aims to bring together a variety of disciplinary voices in a discussion of emergent genres, forms, and narratives in the digital age.
