NC Museum of Art: In addition to their prestigious galleries inside the museum, the North Carolina Museum of Art also boasts 164 acres of public art. 

NC Museum of Natural Sciences: The downtown location includes a Nature Exploration Center, a Nature Research Center, theaters, interactive experiences, and free general admission. 

NC Museum of History: Located in the heart of downtown, the North Carolina Museum of History is home to more than 150,000 artifacts. General admission is free. 

Public Art: Request a free mobile-exclusive passport to find and learn about Raleigh’s Outdoor Mural Trail. Alternatively, take a self-guided tour of Raleigh’s 160+ pieces of public art. 

Gregg Museum of Art & Design: A free collecting and exhibiting museum with more than 54,000 objects in the permanent collection, the Gregg Museum makes the art in the museum collection easily accessible to the NC State community and public. From 19th century Japanese color woodblock prints to antique North Carolina quilts, our objects span cultures, disciplines and designs. Located on Central campus!
