PhD candidate Dan Trigoboff began teaching mass communication following years as a professional writer and editor. He has worked in newspapers, magazines, radio, and television in New England, California, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. He earned his bachelor's degree at Boston University and a juris doctorate at the University of San Diego. He also studied, and later taught, in the master's program at the University of Memphis. He has been on the faculties at Elon University and Methodist University. Current research interests include media law and ethics, digital television, and crisis communication.
